I represent clients in Family Law Court. As a father and husband, I understand the true meaning of FAMILY. I have helped multiple clients in family law disputes by resolving personal differences in a reasonable manner. I stand for my client’s rights, but more importantly I will always stand for the wellbeing and protection of Children.
Custody Cases
I am a father of 3 little boys. I understand what the words LOVE and CHILDREN mean. Unfortunately sometimes things don’t go well at home and families end up separating, placing the children in the middle of custody battles and legal disputes. My approach to child custody cases is objective. Both common sense and science support the conclusion that children benefit by having contact with both parents to the extend it is safe and possible. Every family situation is different of course. But in the end my legal recommendation to clientes in regards child’s custody is the same. “Do what’s best for your children”. And If I can I help to make that happen in court, you have me on your side.
Divorce
I have represented multiple clients in divorce proceedings. Both in USA and Mexico Courts. A good amount of my clients have questions about properties located in Mexico and USA.

Domestic Abuse / Restraining orders
California is a leader state in the protection to victims of domestic abuse. Our laws are amongst the best in worldwide legal systems to deal with Domestic abuse cases. For 15 years I have been blessed with the opportunity of working in close collaborations with Consulates of Mexico in Southern California, and non profit organizations, to contribute to our community representing victims of abuse on probono basis. I recently represented a lady who had been living in a shelter, victim of serious abuse by her US Citizen husband. We were able to successfully obtain a restraining order in court by emergency. Guardianship
I am happy to help my community in guardianship situation- cases . Sometimes for multiple reasons, including immigration status, or health, biological parents cannot take care of their children. So other family members, or friends have to step in the shoes of the parents and take care of children for their wellbeing. But not many people know how to start the process. We have signed agreements with Consulates of Mexico to work together in order to provide probono or low cost representation to families in need of legal guardianships. I am deeply touched by the change we can make on the life of children and families in this type of cases. Children’s mom was diagnosed with cancer and, grandmother had to bring a guardianship case to be able to decide for the minors. It was difficult because fathers of minors would not agree.
