I embrace the responsibility of contributing to my community by bringing justice to our clients regardless whether the case is in the US or Mexico. Mexico ‘s legal system is different than the US system. And although multiple challenges make the legal profession in Mexico much more difficult than in the US, with the great help of my team , I have been able to make a difference in the lives of those who find themselves in need of a good trial lawyer in Mexico.
Successful results in Mexican Courts
Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity of representing an American citizen wrongfully accused of serious crimes related to an accidental fire at a hotel in Tijuana Mexico. “Adam” is a young man from orange county California who was simply spending the weekend in Tijuana Mexico. The hotel in which he was staying with his girlfriend suffered an accidental fire. No one was injured but the hotel was destroyed by the fire. He was accused by the hotel owners of setting the fire intentionally based on the sole fact that he had a candle at his room. The litigation in Mexican courts was highly contested and complicated for multiple reasons. I took the case to trial to free my client from the nightmare of being an American citizen wrongfully sent to Mexican prison without bail. We won Adams case and despite all challenges involved, he was set free. He returned to his family in the United States as a free man after suffering from such unjust incarceration in Mexico.
The happiness of Adam’s family when Adam returned home is something that I will never forget. And it’s the reason why I embrace my responsibility of helping my community in both sides of the border.
Today, I am currently representing other clients in Mexican courts in other type of matters such as civil proceedings for inheritance of clients. (Grandchildren of famous singer from Mexico JOAN SEBASTIAN) to protect their rights as heirs of the Estate of the beloved “Poeta del Pueblo”. I look forward to be able to continue helping clients in Mexican courts in many other type of cases where the purpose is to achieve justice in either side of the border.
