Meet Jesús Eduardo Arias, Esq., LL.M.

An attorney with over 19 years of experience in Private International Law, Jesús Eduardo Arias is licensed to practice in both Mexico and California, United States. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Mexico, he holds dual citizenship and a background that allows him to represent clients on both sides of the border with a comprehensive understanding of both countries’ legal systems.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit and a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) in International Law from the University of San Diego, California, specializing in comparative studies of U.S. and Mexican law.

His practice covers international civil and business litigation, international family law—including cases under the Hague Convention on the International Abduction of Children and International Adoptions—as well as immigration law in Mexico and the United States. He has also acted as an expert witness on Mexican law in trials and hearings in the U.S. and has advised companies and individuals on cross-border operations and disputes.

In addition to leading his own law firm, he has collaborated with Mexican consulates in California and with the U.S. Department of State as a registered attorney for international cases. He is an active member of professional associations such as the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Mexican American Bar Association, where he has held positions on international law executive committees.

His mission: to provide high-level legal advice and representation, bridging two legal systems and defending the rights of his clients regardless of which side of the border they are on.
